Fixed fee for accepting a case. Included in this fee is a general cleaning of the unit (outside and inside), the disassembly and assembly of the device, and the first inspection and step of troubleshooting: understanding what's actually going on inside the device (what's the problem, not the solution).
Price: €30 Always includedAll repairs where the problem is known and doesn't require troubleshooting. Examples: broken or noisy potentiometers, jacks, broken or loose connectors, dead LED, and very light water damages. This is the category where most repairs will end up, I guess.
Price: €30In case of more complex problems which require longer troubleshooting, an hourly fee would be applied. This is calculated only in active repair time, while measurements and trials are required and will be calculated per minute (you aren't charged the full hour if the repair was done in 50 minutes).
Price: €60Every knob, button and keypad will be removed and cleaned in a ultrasonic maschine for ultimate fat removal. Every potentiomer and button will be cleaned and in case of necessity gently lubrificated. All jacks, connectors and contacts will be cleaned one by one, bended connectors will be fixed up. PCB will be inspected and cleaned from corrosion. Everything your synth needs to shine again!

Price:from €100You have a synthesizer with a potentiometer not working. You need to pay the handling fee as soon as you drop the unit off. This will cover the cost of opening the device, general cleaning, and assembly. Once I can confirm that the machine doesn't have any other problems, I will start calculating the time. If the repair can be done in under one hour, you will pay the Easy Fix tariff, and your total will be €50.
Your synth is not switching on anymore, and a faulty connector is suspected of the problem. After paying the handling fee, the troubleshooting is started and... Actually, your connector isn't the cause of the problem, as voltage is present but the device is dropping it somewhere. In case the problem will not be found in the first hour, you will be informed that longer troubleshooting is required, and it will be calculated from the time I actively work on the troubleshooting and fix (the assembly of the device is included in the handling costs). Generally speaking, as synthesizers are usually much easier than what I was used to repair in my previous company, the troubleshooting time should be fairly low. Let's say I will take 90 minutes to identify the problem, confirm I am right, solder the new parts, and test that the issue is fixed. You will be charged for the 90 minutes of troubleshooting time (€90) plus the €30 of handling costs for a total of €120. To be really honest, I guess most of the problems will be handled under the Easy Fix rule... very rarely are there complex cases that require much more effort for a solution.
